Wait, what? London? That's not Eastern Europe. I wanted to stop and see my lovely friend Adrienne, but it was too expensive. The tickets I went with had a nice 5 hour layover and airport change though, so we were going to meet for lunch.

I got into Heathrow, was met by Adrienne, and we had lunch near her flat. Then I headed to Gatwick, sorry to have only had a layover to hang out with her.

Well, wishful thinking prevailed and they wouldn't let me through security because of the time. So back to London and we went to a delicious dim sum dinner and relaxed with a movie and an early night (I'd only had plane-sleep since Prague).

Then it was another 5am wakeup, I got my standby seats and took a couple of planes home. The stopover was in Dallas, and I couldn't help but think that when one goes from 40 degrees to 80 degrees to 50 degrees, one may have gotten off at the wrong stop.

A quick bus ride home, then I forced myself to stay up until 11pm to try to forestall some jetlag. Home sweet home. I'm kinda under the weather though.
