Table demo reel up
February 7, 2006
Casey Muller

A new demo reel for the multi-point table is up, check it out: multi-point table demo reel.

The funny part is that the last thing I worked on at R&H was the pan/zoom interface for the nodegraph; the matrix code is literally identical (plus rotate).

Anyway, it's been a great project so far, there's plenty left to do, and Jeff and Philip (who've done all the hard stuff) are great to work with. Almost any application can be usefully implemented on the table, let me know if anybody thinks of any great ideas.

This is fantastic! I'd love to read more. I've been interested and thinking of something like this for sometime. How does one get involved with development? How can one get (or build) a similar prototypeto experiment with? I've been waiting for this! If there's some way I can contribute, somethingI can play with, etc, please let me know! rfunduk@yahoo.ca

I have been thinking of ideas for a similar product. My favorites are what I term "screen savers" How about one screen that is gently rolling waves, like in a lake. Objects placed on the screen would react like objects in the water, ex: place a glass on the screen and water splashes against it like a Pier anchor. Second, howabout another "screen saver" that is sand. This one would present some interesting shading. okey1kanobi@sbcglobal.net
