A final note in reply to the Casey Fallen saga; Casey Fallen said:
Copyrights do have to be Public Domain. C.D. Baby is a distribution company and sells direct and wholesale. So they have to show Copyright holder by law. About BMI, BMI is a guild relating to Movie and Television Broadcast and is not a Record company. Therefore, I am Independent, yet signed and represented by BMI and it's Lawyers. I don't know the solution. Actually, it is only gonna get worse for ya. Because we have a music video in the works and the L.P. just got a green light. I sincerely do hope my popularity in no way disrupts your buisness. I really do wish the best for you. Casey WWW.CaseyFalllen.COM WWW.MySpace.COM/CaseyFallenWithout asking a lawyer or doing any reading, all I can point out is that every other CD I looked at on CD Baby has a copyright that sounds like a record label, a band, or a stage name. So if I were him or his representation, I'd be looking into that.
Enough though, I'm sure my business will be fine.
