One of the CS classes offered at NYU this fall is titled: "Computational Techniques for Problems with Evolving Interfaces."
I got pretty excited about this; not only is somebody evolving user interfaces, they've got enough of a handle on the problems to teach a class on solving them computationally. I started thinking about how a program could interpret panicky mouse moves and frustrated keyboard banging, and alter behavior and hotspots accordingly. Problems seemed inevitable.
A second later, I realized it's actually a class on fluids and numerical methods. Too bad.
