A working tale is best for rain

I'm kind of sick, it's kind of raining, I have problem sets due Monday and Tuesday, and projects to make progress on. So it's not looking like a fun weekend, but maybe a productive one. At least this morning has been so far; I wrote parallel implementations of quicksort and matrix multiplications in Ada 95 for one of the problem sets.

I took a break after finishing them to stock up on sick food for the weekend (if necessary). As always on this coast, it was a depressing proposition at the supermarket. Even at pricey D'Agostinos (at 100 ft from my door, the clear lazy choice for me), the produce is small and expensive. This time they had also recently increased the prices on a lot of the fresh fruits- for example when holding the California Raspberries to the light, I could clearly see the $3.99 price under the $4.99 sticker. So I guess there'll be more gouging as it gets colder.

Anyway, since leaving the house is pretty miserable, and I can't do schoolwork for more than 30 minutes at a time, hopefully I'll get a few posts up today that have been on my back burner for a while.
